The AEM5K blends the Allen Engineering AEM5 and AEM3 designs: it uses the AEM5's A-length mount paired with the shorter AEM3 baffle stack. That combination lets shooters swap between a full-length A-length can and the AEM5K using the same mounting hardware, with only a slight increase in length over the AEM3.

Sound and flash performance are close to the AEM3, though the longer A-length mount means it will not fit on quite as many hosts. It's a good option for shooters who want the flexibility to swap suppressors between builds without changing mounts.
