The M4-Recce is an Allen Engineering suppressor designed for DEVGRU Recce rifles, predating the 12th Model/AEM5 and used from the mid-1990s through the 2010s. It shares the OPS INC "M4" model designation, with "Recce" added to distinguish it from the AEM4 and M4-Delta.

A reflex baffle section increases internal volume without adding overall length, and the suppressor uses Allen Engineering's two-point mounting system to two points on the barrel for improved accuracy, durability, and repeatability.
